Shipwreck


A scene from one of the many little creeks on the Plock of Kyle. Once a nice seafaring yacht cruiser here but now, well past its time. Maybe the rowing boat still has some life left in it though.

Viewed large, the neglect is obvious. I like the peeling paintwork the tangled ropes and the rusty posts in the foreground and I notice there seem to be more boats in the background.........may be you've found a boat graveyard?
The surrounding landscape looks pretty attractive, with some lovely trees and the yellow of the gorse bushes under a nice blue sky.
