Looking north east from ‘The Blorenge’
As we hike towards the summit of this dominant hill, we take a look down towards the east. The road is the A40 running east west through the town of Abergavenny . The town golf club is identified by its greens and bunkers just to the left of the River Usk directly below.

Yes we did. This is not from the very the very top though, we were about 3/4 up at this point. Glad you liked it.

Beautifully captured from a great perspective. I like the way. the A40 runs diagonally across the frame. The light is lovely and I like to see the shadows of the passing clouds on the landscape.

I also like the patchwork of fields and all the different green tones. Nice one Herb!

Yes lines and light make up this picture but there is interest too in the buildings and roads. Always good to have you onboard with these my friend.

The 'pulling in' of the 75mm often brings up more to see than cramming in too much with a wide angle.. which I do too often,.. ... a very nice scene Herb,..
