Willow Sculpture on Holy Island

Willow Sculpture on Holy Island
On the eastern coast of Lindisfarne (Holy Island) and walking north, we come across this interesting piece of art in the form of a bird sculpture. It is in fact part of the 5km ‘Willow Sculpture Trail’ created by 'Anna' and volunteers. I think this might be the Arctic Tern. Our own trail heads north towards the white pyramid beacon that we thought at this point was a lighthouse - we abandoned that goal some few hundred metres before we got there.

Thanks Rosa. It did look very nice here in the wild but we never saw any of the others. Glad you enjoyed it.

The bird did draw one's eye here Andy. A great round walk all in all. We turned left just at the distant headland.
