Memories of Suilven
After being reminded of the beauties of wild Assynt in Scotland recently, I was tempted to look back through my 2021 collection to find an unposted beauty. Here is a look at the mighty twin peaked Suilven with its partner Canisp shrouded in the white cloud, further to the left. One of the wonderful things around here is the amount of yellow gorse we see. Our road goes on to the right.

Thanks so much Gordon. I must admit to really liking this as I look at it from on here. It was a wonderfully wild place indeed and I felt that I needed to be there really for a month or so to explore much further and perhaps climb these mountains. Many thanks for the star.

An absolutely wonderful landscape Herb...........the light is truly glorious and the distant peaks are magnificent.

I especially like the variety of different colour tones in the landscape, especially the yellow of the gorse.........rugged, but beautiful.
