A Yeoman Hey view

A Yeoman Hey view
As water slowly fills up this reservoir again after our drought conditions, we see here the late light catching the dam and banks. I am here with our Ipernity friend ‘Toz’ who is accompanying me on my home favourite walk with his camera too.

He has already posted a couple of photos from this walk: www.ipernity.com/doc/2405228/51616400 and almost at the same place as this: www.ipernity.com/doc/2405228/51617628
Enjoy full screen.

You are right, I am lucky to have such wonderful water not too far from my home. Thanks for the visit.

Best Wishes, Herbert

I have seen the pictures on TOZ's page and you have both taken superb shots of this place. Nice to walk with a friend who also shows photos on Ipernity. Did you know each other before, or meet on this site...if you don't mind me asking?
Regards, Rosa.

"Good to see that you viewed both Toz's and my similar shots of Dovestones. Rosa, until this meeting we had never met before. We got to be photo friends via Panoramio just before Ipernity. It was a great day out in pleasant company. Both he and I have visited many exactly the same spots more by co-incidence and taken very similar pictures as we both have the same idea of photography, especially landscape. He lives some 70+ minutes away from me. You never know, you and I might one day walk along the coast and take photos whilst we chat together. Ipernity has a lot for us to be thankful for."

Cheers. Herb

That's lovely Herb. I'm pleased you met and got on well. I have met two from Panoramio, one being Amelia, who I met twice in Shrewsbury and the other John Goodwin, who sadly died last year, at Stourhead. It is good to meet people who have the same interest. Thank you so much for your reply.

Cheers, Rosa.
