HWW – An Irish funeral

HWW – An Irish funeral
Who he or she was, I know not, but they left behind a lot of people to mourn the passing. The scene is Ballintoy Parish Church, high above the harbour on a crest of a hill. The church looks down over the large vista of rocky coastline above the Ocean and sandy bays nearby.
We are just starting off on the high coastal path towards Carrick-A-Rede.

Have an enjoyable and safe week in perhaps cooler and wetter weather.

What an interesting picture Herb. A lot of people there! The Irish are good at wakes ;-)
I have a funeral on Friday to attend. Rather sad, my 69 year old friend Bridget. Friends since the 70's. Another victim to cancer.

Thanks for sharing this shot. Cheers, Rosa.

Hi Herb
I like this picture very much!
As everybody has said, the Irish villagers all know each other and look out for each other.
Of course sad for those affected, but something we will all suffer one day.
Best Wishes, HWW,, and stay safe!!
