Ps Just been looking up Glasson Dock and Marina on Google Earth it is now on my to visit list.

Not very much there, but a great place to explore from. Most of the more interesting dock area's you could not get to as they were private.

Good to see you again David. Yes, when I too first saw this, and I never got any closer, I thought it a joke but it is indeed real and quite historical. It is supposed that the lighthouse keeper lived inside. -later in the week we met a bloke who was following 'The British Lighthouse Trail by Sarah Kerr' and that lighthouse was his next stop on his list.

hello Herb, I have only ever been there once but guessed the location from the thumbnail. It’s a very strange isolated place. love the lighthouse.

An interesting place to visit on a warm nice day and picnic by the basin next to the big car park. The lighthouse was a bonus for me as were using the car-park first for our picnic and then as the base for a much bigger walk on the coast itself. Glad it brought back memories for you.

A nicely detailed shot Herb..............with a lot to look at. It definitely warrants viewing large!

I like the light, especially on the water, and the reflections are good. The patches of red draw the eye into the shot nicely and I'm fascinated by all the gadgets on the top of the white building. I also like the two gulls in the water.

Always good to see you Keith. The white building -or as some would say 'Lighthouse' had some unusual elements for sure. As you observe, the lighting helped a great deal here too.
