Happy New Ipernity!
Piethorn Reservoir: A first look at this reservoir for us on this new walk only a few miles from home. This is one of six reservoirs all near to each other above the village of Newhey, Rochdale. This 180° view is made from a stitch of 4x 6000x4000 landscape photos before reduction for Ipernity upload.

I was just about to upload this before Ipernity collapsed last year.

A marvellous panorama, Herb, I've just had it full screen. Isn't it great that we have ipernity up and running again, I was feeling lost and it seems that was common to most members. Very best wishes for the New Year, stay safe.

Hi George, just seen this from you. Great as usual that you liked another of my shots. I am reminded with this just how beautiful my local countryside within 3-7 miles away from my front door can be. A first visit to this spot and I cannot but help to think we saw it at its best here. Great that I managed to capture it so nice for you. Keep safe my friend. I think of you all over there in a very different climate to us but in a similar state of photographic mind..
