I love the soft and dreamy colours and the lines of the hills disappearing onto the mist. Perpect landscape photography! Have a happy and sunny Easter weekend!

Great to see you again Gudrun. I have always liked taking photos of soft landscapes melting in layers of mist. took a few on this day but this was the winner.

You set me a task with your comment as I searched hundreds of my other photos of this area done over the last years but try as I might, I could not find the same photo other than with mist like this.I walk past this spot often but it must only attract a photo when it is misty! So, I cannot show you the same in the sunshine. Ah well.

Brilliantly captured and extremely atmospheric................almost ethereal..!! The diffused light is beautiful and I particularly like the softly silhouetted hills and trees. Just wonderful :-)

Nice to see you here Keith. As usual you always pop over to join me in my landscape moods collection here. Looking through my Ipernity collection I am amazed that I don't have a closer view of this tree - a thing I will try to correct shortly.

Wow! I can appreciate the mist and cool temperature from afar! I hope you now have the sunshine and warmth that we have in Somerset Herb. To be honest I would suffer the cold for a shot like this. All the best, Rosa.

Outstanding picture Herb.
The lone tree, I think I know the feeling for in the South, Alentejo, they stand very alone, sometimes distant as if they wouldn't like our intruding in their lands...
