Markus trying to get the northern Aurora effect in the Southern skies with my laser pointer.

My wifes Grandson works with a German Backpacker and heard I took photos of the stars and wanted to come out and try. Markus has his point and shoot on the tracker but he is able to control all parts of the camera. all that's left of the petrol station. I plan to go back in the coming week to get a few shots to show the recovery if any. driving past in the dark last night to go shoot a few stars still does not look very good at all.

Just goes to prove fences are not always the safe way to go...

Check the mirror. A shot that is not all it seems two shots blended into a panorama from the two I took of him on the day on the other side of the table. Shot one was a smile shot two was a full blooded laugh.

A wedding present and this year Christmas present adding light to the statue. This shot does not have any Auto in it every part of this is all manual set up. This is out on the bonsai stand out in the dark out side my office window so how could I not stand up to the challenge. Do look at this large on black.

My first introduction to the landscape. nothing left but black and grey there is a totally unmistakable smell of fire. Road to the right totally unharmed.
