First look at the New Prima Luce Lab Esatto Focuser, not a cheap option but a far better option the the Skywatcher and ZWO. At least this focuser will never groove itself and stick like the ZWO down side there is no manual focus other than through the APP.

Rainy Day

After Taking the photo in the trees I headed back over the farm Bridge. The heavy drops on the water.
Persimmon trees on the turn.
|
|
|
|
you could not miss the three rows of persimmon trees in all the other trees. I have never seen such a riot of colour in my life. the PIPs are other views of the trees.
I got out to take the photos as it started to spit heavy drops
Cherry trees

I went out to go take photo of the trees turning as its not a sight we see that much in Perth. when I got back the orchard owner told me jump in his ute and go to the back of the orchard to see the persimmon trees.
the rain was about to set in so I took my wife and drove to the back of the orchard.

do not adjust your computer what looks like noise is hard heavy rain drops. I was told to take the farm UTE and go to the back of the farm to shoot the Persimmon trees in autumn colours(to follow). I could not pass this shot up out the window of the UTE in the bucketing rains.

This is a very new platrform I was keen to get out on But last trip as just a no go I would not leave the bus with all that salt water in the air. see below
But this time I was able to get out on the platform. Clara would not go past the first person on the right point as the platform moves with the people on it past that point. I had to set My ISO higher to overcome that movement. you pay to park to pay for the new platform .
look out to sea those darker skies are the rains coming in.
Fighting Dragons Of Ara Panorama NGC6188

After my last accidental panorama I thought I should at lest attempt a proper panorama.
this is a two shot vertical panorama of the whole area around the Dragon's as well. I did this as I was able to shoot two whole nights in a row one night each panel some 61 shots each 10 min. this was mostly edited in PIxInsight stitched with PTGui that I have used for years to do all the milky way bows put the two photos together straight up. as you can see have been able to over come the filter colour in this shot.
The story goes these Dragons are fighting over the egg below NGC6164

After leaving the city to get out in the dark I was chased back by clouds that did not want to preform as predicted. 20 shots came from that first night in the country and 108 shot from home in the clear all night long. this is 10 min shots, quite a spectacular colour full nebula area. once again this is 99% edited in PixInsight.
This is about the few times I have shot so many files and stacked them together , the shot comes out almost noise free as an added bonus even at -10c.

I shot two targets, on the 1/5/2021 I shot the Gabriella nebula 28 shots 10min each between clouds and was no even to make it here it was a simple trial. On the 2/5/2021 I shot 49 shots 10 min each on the main part of the Carina nebula also as part trial but it did turn out very well. they where never planed to go together just two different targets on two totally different nights and one never meant to see the light of day here but made my back ground for a day on the computer.
I edited the two shots a day apart as individuals It was not till I sat back and looked at the two shots that I knew they would go together. there was so much detail and enough of an overlap. kind of a shame I did not set it up from the first place right.
PTGui stitched them straight up with not one bit of help from me. I do look forward to setting myself a real mosaic I have no fear of not getting the shot right. It has always been PTGui that I turned to to do the Milky way Bows for the last 5 years.
Carina Nebula NGC 3372

I was trying out some new equipment when I thought I would try Carina as it was over head. At one point I had to go inside the smoke was so strong and the Guiding got very bad. Only the Second shot I have done that was almost totally edited in PixInsight never see the amount of nebulocity around the main nebula. the mount stopped as the house next door got in the way enjoy the Southern hemisphere at 900mm. DSLR @ 600mm same scope.

Fallen tree

We walked behind Granddaughter and boy friend as we walked the trail in Jarradale where she grew up. Some enterprising person pulled the young tree down to the ground, it now rooted both end in the ground. Nature only grows one way. UP

As I have had a string of cloudless moonless nights I decided to try one of my old targets. I had to get Clara to point with the Laser pointer so I could find the target in the 600mm lens in 2019. Its a whole lot easier on computer in 2021. another of the only in the southern hemisphere
I have to say far more please with this shot than the first in 2019.
