These little birds and you are looking at the fullsize of the shot so you get an idea just how small they are. They dont stay still for very long at all most cases by the time you found them and got focus they are gone from the shot this male was happy in the warmth of the sun.

At The Chestnut farm while everybody sat and ate the chestnuts I went for a walk in the bush by the lake. I put the 150-600mm lens on as there is likely to be birds in the native bush.

I can not find the name for this group so it remains nameless but in the area Of VDBH 70 but certainly not VDBH 70.I like the shapes of this lot by look at these has been cut short by rain so this is all that will be taken. Part of the reason it took the photos of the milky way was to see if there some more interesting targets worth a shot at. The normal targets that astro photographers do have all been done so it was try some thing very different possibly not done before. what you are looking at is the first faint Red dot from the Right in the PIP below of the milky way shot from last year.. If you are not sure click on the photo below look at the first pip from the right. I did not know this name I only knew where to find it in the milky way but as told that it did have a name. I was working the day of the eclipse at school. I was painting a room but kept my eye on the time. I joined all the kids out on the play area with there home made solar filters that showed the sun on the white paper below. As I had my camera I spotted nature's own pinhole filter the leaves on the trees down the path. I was able to see the solar eclipse for real as one person had a set of real sun filters so you could look at the sun. We got to see a crescent like moon. I kick myself not ever buying a solar filter for my camera set up. You can be sure that will be coming up soon.

We stopped in Bunbury for breakfast as it was not raining on an otherwise rainy Day. Next stop Manjimup and chestnut farm.

One of the seafoods Fremantle is known for the fresh caught Octopus Immortalized on the wall as a mural.

Its school holidays but I am still working flat out trying to fix as much as I can while there are is no one at school BUT ME. It was a case of checking the school to try and make it safe from the after effects of the impending cyclone up north and it after effects.

You have seen part of this before but as I am waiting for a target to rise In the milky way that I found when I did the milky way panorama. I do not have a name for the nebula but know where it is on the milky way its one I have never see in any photo so it going to be a new look at some thing I have never seen close. A tiny red dot in the middle of the huge panorama below. The Running Chicken can be see as the second largest red nebula on the far right of the huge panorama. So what became just the" body" top left I went clockwise taking the whole of the Running Chicken Nebula as an extra 3 shot to get the whole of the Nebula. I still can NOT see it even though I am enjoying this years Shiraz I still cant see no chicken. none the less enjoy the fruits or a lot of night to get the total in all its detail. Last was a single shot ED80 and APSC ZWO as a single shot. this is ED80 and 1" Sensor on the QHY 183 gives you an idea on the effect a sensor has on a photo but this is 4 shot to get the same amount of area as the single shot on the ZWOASI071 MC pro.
