This is a trial trying to achieve collimation of the mirrors, you are looking at two shots to make this photo split down the middle. Part of the learning process of this new scope I think I should have shot say 2 to 3 min so as not to blow out the white bright core. I i get a chance I may try again with the lower time but it all dependent on the weather. Stars on the left are not quite as good as the stars on the right. I have been trying to understand the mirrors and alignment but never get enough fine days to fully test out just two night and back into rain. I have to get collimation or mirror alignment before I switch to a Black and White camera and a filter wheel. The camera I am going to use is the very same QHY183M so setting up the whole system is easy its all ready done. QHY 183C -10c 85 shots 5 min each over two nights. What we got treated to first up in the morning.

The real reason we went to the farm this is all Shiraz grapes we plan to get our grapes from here. You can see the two rows that we pruned to get more grapes from the old vines. This shot is just a very small fraction of the whole winery. The property is owned by people who do not know or care about the vines or wine. we started pruning 7am finished at 4 pm when our hands gave out.

We went to a farm South of the city. I went to work on friday to do a job but was beaten by rain can't lay blocks in the rain.

We had the Great grand children for 5 days but grand kids come with extras both came with the Flu............. While Clara and I have had this years Flu shot we both have got it. This is a Jigsaw that the school passed out as it had never been done. The shot above is three days works and topped off with the right glue its no longer a jigsaw it is now one piece the shot is looking at it sitting on a glass table top. The jigsaw is 1000 pieces just small enough so you can get mixed up where you put it. The size is 700mm x 500mm so its no small one. I had no idea if it was all there or was there pieces missing you will note on the second shot there are pieces missing all where in the sky box I just had to find then to add them in. The start The bottom of the box I put all the parts of the sky for the end I started with the dragon Fire and the edges. Those edges where reconfigured more than once. Getting the details. Trying to come to terms with the Rocks. The only real clue I had was the shape of the Pieces. the sky was try each piece one by one and follow the shapes. this will be hanging up on the wall by the end of the week.

The bird Sat enjoying the warmth of the Sun As it very wet and school holiday's we coped a very bad set of days that where dry to cut down trees. my day off is friday but was only dry day and saturday to cut out peppers trees that have been left to grow wild in the school grounds. we did not want to climb ladders on a wet day and cut out trees. I got home stuffed on saturday went to bed early. Next friday is looking much the same I have 14 blocks to lay so do not need a wet day at all so far friday next week is shaping up as my only dry day. Each block is 33 kg so it's not going to be a super fast lay more a calculated one. HFF I have miss for work at the school.

My wife went to the hairdressers I took my long lens and waited patiently on the Boardwalk on the lake. This was deep with in the trees thank goodness for focus tuning...the bird has just eaten a grub and has its foot on a Stick Insect next in line. Its good the lens does not show the leaves and brush in between.

I took this photo from the bus window as we left New norcia, It shows just how out of place all the building look in the Australian country landscape. This is the boys College St Benedict's in full view.
