Star Less Milky Way Center

Star Less Milky Way Center
With the program that removes stars I had a look back at the 10 shot I Took with the 14mm lens 4 min each 4 had clouds. To this I have done not one colour edit this is straight from raw files.

What you see is all the Nebulocity that is in the core all the detail and all the colour that make this up. I will add all the PIPS that go with this shot. There is Lots my fav part of the milky way. Just out of view To the left in order Running Chicken Nebula, Carina, and the Fighting dragons.

Running chicken ( still cant find It)

Fighting Dragons
Not so Shy Dragons

All of this will get a revisit next year once Guiding works as it should.. In the mean time Enjoy a Heavenly View. All this is captured on Normal photographic gear And a lot of determination.

LutzP, Erhard Bernstein, Gudrun, Marco F. Delminho and 9 other people have particularly liked this photo

I see the point of the exercise and the result certainly highlights the structure of the Milky Way. Could you, maybe, just for comparison post the same projection with the stars included? Great work on the PiPs too, though I'm afraid the chicken continues to elude me. :-)

You will note I have added as a pip the full star version. I have also rotated the shot of the running chicken with no stars so you can see the shape better in truth looks more like a legless dinosaur than a chicken. We did not name it we just had to find it. the interesting thing is If the shat was taken with a longer focal length you would not see it at all. next year I will have to revisit this.

WIthout the stars it looks strange and fascinating. Just like a network of veins!
