we did not get much of a view between clouds but still quite a good shot. many thanks.

Shame about the clouds but its great to get even a view, I like the way the clouds show in the shot as well. glad you agree it makes the shot.

I did not think I was going to get none either but a lucky break in the clouds meant I could at least get a shot. not been a good start for the year as far as astro is concerned thanks to clouds.

Thats how I feel our year has started already, I know the frustrations you also face. have never done the sun always been a bit worried about the brightness to eyes and camera. love the look regardless in the shot hats of to you.

Clouds over our Moon too last night , Steve, was unable to catch a decent shot., so gave up!!

I know the feeling I was set up but thought I was not going to get a shot myself till this break. So I know just what you mean, not been a kind start to the year for astro.
