I was sitting in my living room when this bird flew into one of the trees just south of the house. Finding it among all the many trees of the forest wasn't easy, but it apparently saw me clearly.

We've had several days of cold weather here. The surface of the pond is frozen, but Rosie wisely stays close to shore.
