Hallo Ronald,
diese Figur hatte sicher die zu Weihnachten sehr beliebten Nussknacker aus dem deutschen Erzgebirge zum Vorbild,

Mich hatte der "European soldier" stutzig gemacht. Aber es stimmt wohl. Soldaten aus dem 19. Jhd. waren Vorbild für diese Figur.

Thank you, Ernst. I saw that it resembled the nutcracker figure, but there is no nutcracker jaw. So I just called it a soldier. Probably these figures came from China.
