One of the last flowers of autumn

wollt mich est wundern, dass ihr noch so schöne Blumen habt, aber Starkville liegt ja auf der Höhe von Marocko. Hier blüht nichts mehr. Aber es gab schon Eisblumen!

I don't really know, Ernst. This is really one of the last flowers blooming here. I compared the climates of Casablanca and Starkville, and they are much different. The temperature fluctuates much more here than in Casablanca - both from day to night and throughout the year. Another big difference is that we receive a lot more rain in a year (1400 mm vs 400 mm) and it rains all year. The Gulf of Mexico is always warm, so only when the wind blows from the north does it become cold here. The weather in Casablanca seems very pleasant to me.
