To welcome pictures shot of any UK native wild birds.
In my case, I see lots more seabirds than other species because of my location, which explains why there's so many shots from me of Fulmars and Gulls, etc. But that's only down to my location rather than any implied preference in what's admissable here.
If some sort of criterion is needed to decide if your shot qualifies, it should be easy really. Did you take your picture in the UK? And - was the bird wild or captive? (I'd rather it was…

Just as the title suggests. Shots of birds you've taken in the UK. No rules apart from that. S. Ireland is fine too. Include taking off or landing shots if you like - but let's see the wings in action please.
No posting limits, include as many of your photographs as you like - the more the merrier.
The group is for all images taken with a Canon DSLR.
It would be great if the EXIF-Data'S would be included so that we can see which lens was used and how the general camera settings have been.

Everything that makes the heart of the crane lover beat faster! From harbour cranes, container cranes to construction cranes - cranes of all kinds! We would even like to welcome mobile cranes here in our crane group.
Nothing works without a crane ;-)
The only condition: The crane should be one of the main motives of the photo and clearly visible. Otherwise the photo will be removed.
Dedicated to all you "long exposure"-lovers :-) Be welcome to add you long exposure shot here!
Long exposure is a method in photography that refers to a longer exposure time than in conventional photography. Long exposures are used when photographing with a camera with weak light sources or to show motion sequences. However, it is also used in camera-less photography, for example in photograms, lumen prints, cyanotypes and anthotypes and various other historical methods.

This is a group for pictures of birds perching on a structure, such as a fence, tree or bird feeder. No black and white. Live birds - wild or domestic. No stuffed animals.
A showcase of British Wildlife. Only top quality photographs please. The photographs are moderated, and you may add up to 5 per day.
Quality is the key. As a minimum, photographs have to be in focus, and correctly exposed. Normally, the wildlife has to be prominent in the frame.
If possible, please add details of the location your wildlife was photographed, as it helps organisations that monitor our wildlife.

I have never created a group, but this time I felt I had to. Fabio is a dear friend of mine and a great photographer. After a serious intervention he has lost consciousness for weeks. One month ago he wrote me he he had woken up and started slowly to recover. Then, no more news. All my messages and the ones of other IP members have been unanswered yet. Please feel free to post any picture you think it could support him. He needs our help and what we can do is sending him our best shots (no more…
