...when trying to achieve something similar as on inspiring shots by .t.a.o.n. . I just poured in three images into different layers and changed the layer mode into difference for the two topmost layers. Then I just enhanced the lines and contrast.

...on same old subject is fun. I followed (or tried to follow) my own two year old instructions to replicate the effect. It kind of worked. Although, some adjustment on layer opacity were needed, and "outlines" could be thinner. Within two years there's a new hotel building erected, which now fills the opening between the office buildings.
