.... hanging off a branch of the Buddleia davidii .... all of a sudden it moved ! .... of course I sat - camera in hand to see what in the world was coming out .... watched for about an hour [ neighbor came over to see what I was doing - he had no idea what it was either ] ... so, as Pam J said -- bagworms -- remove .... removed this twiggy looking sack [ not when anything was poking out ] .... put on the sidewalk to watch somemore .. .nothing happened .... so, went inside and got the liquid dish soap .... back out .... it had moved from where I left it .... don't know how many more came out and they disappeared in a heartbeat ..... poked holes in the twiggy looking sack - doused it with full strength soap .... it hasn't moved .... looked around the yard this morning and didn't see anything else hanging ... first the Robber Fly -- now this ! And I thought Palmetto bugs were bad ~ Okay, Sir Richard --- I can hear you laughing ~~~

my vehicle parked on the street .. during all the tree trimming .. drove it later .. just fine .. few days later, went out to do my fave job .. Grocery shopping ! oh, no ... the remote wouldn't work .. back inside to change out that battery .. what a puzzle .. there is hard plastic all around it .. nothing flexible .. my dear spouse went out .. came back and told me the battery of the car was dead .. 'Hon', you have no lights blinking (anti-theft system) .. so, just got back from purchasing a brand new shiny black battery ... if you have a CR-V, check it out .. takes a very small battery .. not like going and picking one up just anyplace .. at least the guys at Webbs Service had one on order, so just tacked my order on .. it came.. they put it in .. in the roof ... linked to Another Link in the Chain .. from steaming manhole cover to venting smoke by fireman .. couldn't see it, but sounded like a chain saw .. shortly after it was cut, smoke billowed out .. brown & black .. these men do extremely hazardous work .. we should never take them for granted .. this is just up the street from me .. things look different from this perspective ..
