Sight and Sound Another venture into the exciting world of "Astrophotography." Not the best image, but it's sure interesting to try doing this and just have some pics even turn out as recognizable. (Looks best on black.) This is the view from our back deck looking down toward the big pond at 10pm Thursday. It's not the daylight and "it's not the spotlight," but the moonlight shining on the trees from behind me. This was a 15 second exposure that caught, what looks like, a jet flying over. When I viewed my pics in the camera as I was shooting they all looked completely dark. It wasn't until I did some editing that I could actually see what was there. Next time I will try some shorter exposure times. This is fun! Sight and Sound (Looks best on black) This is one of my first attempts at "Astrophotography." Not an easy task, but a very exciting challenge nonetheless. The thing I found hardest to do was to get any kind of focus on the stars themselves. I will keep on trying after the full moon when the sky is darker.
