My Secret Window This is the view I have out the window when I sit at my computer. There is this nice little window into the woods where the pine, fir, cedar and hemlock trees all meet.

These are a couple of trees growing right next to our house. I always thought they were cedar trees, but I guess they aren't "true" cedars, but are actually thuja trees. You can read about them here: Wikipedia - Thuja

I could never say enough nice things about Japanese Maples. If you want one do get one. You won't regret it. I could have a whole yard of them I love and enjoy them that much. They are just incredible trees in all seasons.
