There's a house down the block which has an outdoor prickly pear cactus. I don't know if they ever harvest the fruit. I'm just impressed that they got it to grow 2'-3' tall in an environment where it rains nine months of the year. :D

Meanwhile, the directions on the right remind us: "To keep the sparkle in 7UP, please don't 'paddle your punch.'"
