Edited and brought forward this time for the Vintage Photos Theme Park theme of: CLOUDS My mother-in-law, Joanne Illingworth, somewhere in Vermont. Probably late 1930s.

Uploaded (late) for the Vintage Photos Theme Park monthly theme of : OBLIVIOUS My mother-in-law making "angel wings" over the shoulders of an unsuspecting, oblivious friend. Late 1930s/early 1940s, Colby College, Waterville, Maine.

Uploaded for the Vintage Photos Theme Park theme of: LADDERS Ernest Illingworth diving into the Springfield, VT pool on his birthday. I'm guessing he is in his early to mid eighties here (in contrast to his 80th birthday shot below). His body is less stout, the building behind has been modernized, and he's diving off the lower, rather than higher diving board. I don't like to repeat, or near repeat, photos - but this was the ONLY vintage ladder picture I could find!

She and her husband emigrated to the States in the 1890s. She is probably buried in the Bellows Falls area of Vermont. She was probably born in Bradford, Yorkshire about 1858/59 and probably married Harry Illingworth in 1878. I believe she is in her teens in this picture, making this about mid 1870s. One of my children's Great Great Grandparents. The boys>Brian>Joanne>Ernest>Ruth.
