Originally uploaded for the Vintage Photos Theme Park theme of: FENCES, WALLS, OR OTHER BOUNDARY MARKERS - and brought forward for HFF! Here's a classic picket fence dividing what looks like a small town American Main Street from a backyard. Behind the sweet little child is either a garden shed or an outhouse (in the American sense, meaning an outside toilet). This is a photo from an album of photographs I bought at a town-wide sale in NY state. I believe it came from Michigan. HFF everyone - and best wishes for a beautiful weekend!

Two Girls Reading

This has the feel and look of a home developed photo. I wonder what they were reading? The one on the right is holding her doll. This was purchased in Plainfield, Vermont at an antique store and found in a shoebox full of mostly poor quality pictures. I really like this one though.

Sisters with Bows

i suppose this is not technically a found picture. It was given to me by a high school friend who knew I collected old photographs and found this in her grandmother's attic when she (the grandmother) passed away. The youngest girl is my friend's adopted mother's mother. On the back I wrote "Regents, New Haven" Given to me in New Haven Connecticut in the early 1970's.

Tintype of Pink Cheeked Girl

Brought forward for the Vintage Photos Theme Park theme of spooky children. I actually never really saw her that way, but since I have had many comments over the years with people seeing her as creepy, and failing any other likely spooky children images, here she is! This is a favorite - I love her little face and her high button boots, her hat and her rather stringy hair. I bought this years ago in Connecticut. She always reminded me of Shelly Duval. : )
