Patsy King c1933

This was probably taken by her father inside their house at Harvard Street, Springfield, Vermont. I love the huge radio behind her.

Little Ringlet Girl

31 Jul 2010 178
In her party best . No information on the back. I've squared this -it's on a ragged piece of cardboard and looks like it was cut out of a larger sheet of cardboard. It's small, about 1 1/2 by 1 1/2 inches.

My grandfather who was born in 1895 in Denmark and died in Wales in 1933 of a coronary - my Dad was 12 at the time. I've just connected with a Lundbech from Denmark (through Flickr) who is distantly related. He kindly sent me lots of genealogical information about our family including the name of Gudmund's mother which my father never knew. My children's Great Grandfather. Fancy Togs

05 Nov 2016 5 3 448
Brought forward for the Vintage Photos Theme Park theme of "CHILDREN STANDING ON CHAIRS". This was found in Vermont but is an unsent postcard with "Made in Canada" on the back. I really like the interesting design of this woman's dress but the little girl is wearing very peculiar shoes.

Vintage First Communion

20 May 2009 2 1 354
Found in Branford, CT, 2009. Even a first communion veil couldn't stop them from adding the giant bow! That's rather a strange, moody backdrop for a sunny looking confirmation girl.

Holyoke, Massachusetts Girl

Unknown girl. Photo taken in Holyoke - found in Grimshaw/Halkard album in Springfield, Vermont.

Anna Nolan with her Younger Sister

03 Apr 2009 3 180
On the left is Anna Nolan. she was engaged to my great -uncle Arthur Gregory who was killed in 1918 (on her birthday) and ten years later she ended up marrying his older brother William Gregory, who had been left a widower with three children, the youngest of whom was my mother. This picture is taken with her younger sister Peggy who still lived in Ireland, On the back Anna has written: This was me and Peggy in 1920 my widowed sister the hard case that I was telling you about but she [can't decipher the rest} I remember my Nana saying that Peggy had a hard life, but don't know the details.
