On New Years Day 2020, The Provincial Society operated an Ale & Ride event from Gosport and Fareham Bus Stations using a number of preserved vehicles. After my Gosport shoot [qv], I had taken a break in Havant and then made my way to Fareham where I saw four participants which included the very well known Southampton City Transport Leyland Atlantean 133/TTR167H. As had been the case at Gosport, First were running no service so there plenty of room for the Ale & Ride buses and a couple of National Express vehicles one of which, Lucketts operated Caetano Levante bodied Scania K410 EB6 X560656/BK67LOF, is seen setting off from the bus station. 5300_DSC_1652CE

As had been the case at Gosport, First were running no service so there plenty of room for the Ale & Ride buses and a couple of National Express vehicles. In my editing, I eschewed the standard three-quarter shot with the only the bus featured and preferred the framing by the car and a bystander.
