Night at the museum ❶

➽ Das Gebäude wurde 1654 unter Fürsterzbischof Guidobald von Thun und Hohenstein für die Salinenverwaltung errichtet. Heute beherbergt es das Keltenmuseum Hallein.
Das Museum zeigt bedeutende Exponate Keltischer Kunst, sowie die Entwicklung der Stadt Hallein und der historischen Salzgewinnung. Auch das Gebäude selbst und die Gestaltung/Lichtwirkung ist sehr sehenswert.

➽ The building was constructed in 1654 under Prince Archbishop Guidobald of Thun and Hohenstein as a administration building for the saltworks. Today it houses the Celtic Museum Hallein (engl.).
The museum displays important exhibits of Celtic art, as well as the development of the city of Hallein and the historic salt production. Also, the building itself and the design / lighting effect is very worth seeing.
