This is probably the most difficult portrait I have done. It was not done with a photo (I would have got a much better one!) but by looking at myself in the mirror. The difficulty is that one cannot paint any time. You have to choose the same time every day till it is finished as you have to try and get the same light. As soon as the light changes, it is not you, but someone else! With painting from photographs, the light is already down, so you just do it as it is. One must also realise that the image is reversed, but that's the way you know and see yourself every day!

What about some feed back?

Well Bengt, I draw only at the same time every day and in the same position. It's not easy at all. People don't realise how difficult it is, but with experience you get better and better. Thanks for the feedback.

That's a real good idea. You see you will love it. When are you moving? Did you sell your house yet?Sorry I haven't been very active on Ipernity recently, but I haven't much time. I had to see doctors etc, but the news is good. I'm all clear and releived about this. Will start working on the site as soon as I can. Have a nice day Bengt.
