Group: the Gamer Group

I joined a new game related site called Colexions (colexions.com) this week. It's an independent site where game lovers can collectors can get together, share pictures and videos of their collections, and talk about all things game related.

They also are trying to create a venue to trade and sell games, although the setup for this at the moment is pretty basic.

I'm enjoying the short time I've spent on their this week. The site layout could do with some editing - it acutally looks an functions better on my tablet it seems than on my PC (on which it feels kind of clunky). If anything will keep me coming back and draw in more people it will be the community on the site, which appears to be fun and friendly at first glance.

Since I've stopped going to Gamespot a few years ago, the only site focused specifically around gaming I've been going to is Backloggery: an amazing place to keep track of your collection especially if you liked to see that "games completed" list of your grow. With that in mind, I think it will be nice to have a new game-centered place on the web to go to.

Of course I'll still be posting my gaming pics and videos here as well! I see no change in having iPernity as the hub for my media. Thankfully the HTML code provided by iPernity for sharing my content is easily utilized on Colexions.
