Gillian Everett club has repliedI also have taken many people photos, including street candids, etc. and have a street photography group, with many candid photos.

Most of these are taken on the basis that if it is a public place, then people photos are permissible. However, I have a personal guideline that they should be in good taste, and preferably a flattering image of the subject, and definitely no nudity.
In the case of my 100 strangers project, I always had permission.

Gillian Everett club has repliedGenerally, if referring to other people's work, for example, a photograph of a published book, attribution should be given, i.e. a description of the work, or whatever is appropriate.
If you feel uncomfortable with any particular image, regarding attribution or copyright, then, yes, it would be good to have it private only to see here on this group.
