A sua construção data do século XVIII, mas conhecem-se referências a esta igreja do século XIII. Foi sucessivamente ampliada, de tal forma que o monumento primitivo desapareceu, embora subsistam traços do período josefino. No século XX o seu estado de degradação era ruinoso, mas em 1987 começou a ser reconstruída e hoje é também um espaço cultural diversificado.

Its construction dates back to the 18th century, but there are references to this church from the 13th century. It was successively enlarged, in such a way that the primitive monument disappeared, although traces of the Josephine period remain. In the 20th century its state of degradation was ruinous, but in 1987 it began to be rebuilt and today it is also a diversified cultural space.
