A sua construção data do século XVIII, mas conhecem-se referências a esta igreja do século XIII. Foi sucessivamente ampliada, de tal forma que o monumento primitivo desapareceu, embora subsistam traços do período josefino. No século XX o seu estado de degradação era ruinoso, mas em 1987 começou a ser reconstruída e hoje é também um espaço cultural diversificado. ---- Its construction dates back to the 18th century, but there are references to this church from the 13th century. It was successively enlarged, in such a way that the primitive monument disappeared, although traces of the Josephine period remain.
