Thanks for this refreshing view. We are exhausted by this big heat to which we are not used in the west of France. Forecast next Monday: 42° C !! HFF Isabel.

Indeed hard even when like us we have over 40° every summer, just that we are used, adapted and prepared to it. Now on tv here they make a great fuss about heat, most of the people say they are ridiculous as it happens every summer. What is unusual is not the temperature but the strong burning wind and the fact that as it rained less than 30% what it should have rained in winter all is abnormally dry since may, hence the fires burning all from north country to my south…
Old recipe if you dont have air conditioning: wet towels on your head and forehead, also on the forearms. It works.

I’d love some real winter in winter, what we do not really have here…. Before the pandemics I used to go to the polar Artic Circle once in a year for some extreme cold and snow,..
43°C for today here, but we are used to.
