HFF and calm weekend
HFF Colin
Colin Ashcroft club has replied to Xata clubPaths on open landscape are wonderful but the problem in the Lake District Park is too many people on the same paths.
On lower level the land is dominated by livestock, mostly sheep but also cattle which means fencing and traditionally stiles over walls or fences were used for footpaths.
Xata club has replied to Colin Ashcroft clubHere is the same, so the same is done to protect nature.
Fortunately in the high hills not much hikers, people prefer being (packed) on kms of sand by the sea.
I know the old paths up hills, the ones used by shepherds and sheep... and in this season I hike before sunrise because after it gets quickly too hot.
Colin Ashcroft club has replied to Xata clubHFF, enjoy the weekend. Herb
