Colin Ashcroft club has replied to Keith Burton clubI open a bedroom windows, stand on a chair and hold the camera out of the window as high as I can. I use the Fixed point Spot Focus at the bottom of the frame to hit a treetop and then hold my breath and Click! ( or Click with delay 2 seconds but holding the camera high I don’t think that helps) At the same time I was in conversation with the young lad (aged 7) next door who was having a great time in the snow but interested in what I was up to :-).
As I explained to him why I wanted to photograph the clouds i.e. that the colours change at the end of the day he was talking about where in the world it would be the start of the day!
