Colin Ashcroft club has replied to Andy Rodker club1976 turned out to be one the hottest Summers on record.
Andy Rodker club has replied to Colin Ashcroft clubIt was also the summer of Tony Grieg's fateful 'grovel' remark and magnificent cricket by Richards, Greenidge, Holding, et al. I also remember the brave rearguard batting of Close and Edrich (R.I.P.). I also used to queue up behind John Edrich in an American-style burger joint (NOT Wimpey!) in Cheam as he returned home from matches at The Oval around that time. Seems like yesterday!
