It was interesting to watch the bird. It had a long bath in our bird bath and refused to move when a Woodpigeon stood on the edge, time and time again moving as if to peck but the Jackdaw just ignored it and continued to wash. I never saw it fly but it was on a garage roof for these photos. It may recover.
