With Mum and Sister up the top of Goat Fell (the highest peak on the Isle of Arran).

Oooh, very nice mate.................I love old family photos.

I'm sure I've got a photo of me taken in the same place. It's probably tucked away the attic somewhere. It must have been in the late 1970s - I was in the RN at the time and we "volunteered" for the walk to the top and back.

I have never forgotten my first time over Striding Edge on Helvellyn trying to make progress up to the top (the Abyss) with a group of Royal Marines running down at me!
