Ever fancied a climb there Colin?

This is a wonderful capture Colin, especially so, considering it was taken in 1970 and is scanned from a slide. Yes, even in Summer, this mountain is a formidable sight and only when you get up close do you realise the gall of mere man to scale its sheer north face walls of 5900ft in total. (The total height of the Eiger is 13015ft (3967m) ). The colour cast is still good on here too after so many years. Thanks for sharing Colin.

Kodak Instamatic :-)

Excellent! My Mum (and just about everyone else!) had a Kodak Instamatic and I remember some of her shots seemed to be OK (to a 12 year old anyway!). Most, but not all, of her shots were of people. Next time i'm in Cornwall I might ask if she would let me have a look at her albums and ask her permission to scan a few for here.
