Any old camera.

I placed the camera on the river bank and took one photo and walked home. I call this a success. 7Mp camera now 13 years old.

Colin Ashcroft club has replied to HappySnapperI first thought you meant that you left your camera in situ ... and went home!
I still have my Pentax ME (18th birthday present in 76). It served me very well together with with a couple of Hasselblad lenses. But then I didn't take any photos from 1987 until 2011 (for a variety of reasons, none of which particularly stack up now!).

I found it easier all round just to desist. And then got out of the habit completely. Only when I was given a second hand Nokia N95 (a far better camera than a phone) by my Spanish brother-in-law when I moved to Madrid, did I start to think I might enjoy some landscape photography.
