A fine capture Colin. A few of these arrived on their normal field in our local forestry plantation a few days before the snow and cold arrived, great timing! They see to be okay though as a saw them again a couple of days ago.

They seem to arrive when the daylight hours change. I always wonder why they don't take more notice of the weather - I suppose they have time ticking away in their head saying we have to get started breed now or never.
