Waterfall at Kinder Downfall

Waterfall at Kinder Downfall
The waterfall at Kinder Downfall viewed over the Reservoir Dam wall. This Waterfall often dries up completely but more famously when the wind blows more water seems to get blown back up the hill than ever makes it into Kinder Reservoir.

Kinder Scout is the highest peak in the UK Peak District - The highest point is not clear to find as the top is a large plateau.

I remember it from long long ago. The plateau is a jigsaw of boggy gullies, where you can sink to the knee. It was the first time I'd ever seen such landscape, and I thought I was on the moon.

Yes that's right but there have been great improvements in recent years and the top even appears green now thanks to Moors For The Future staff and Volunteers spending many man hours planting and blocking gullies
