Covered with black linen-cotton bookcloth and amate bark paper. Headbands sewn with coffee dyed, off-white linen thread. Approx. 130 pages of gray-brown recycled text weight paper inside.

Approx. 130 pages of gray-brown recycled text weight paper inside. This paper is most suitable for fineliners, pens, pencils and all dry media, but it also takes some fountain pen scribble quite nicely.

My sketchbooks all include around 75 pages of off-white Canson Mi-Teintes paper with deckled edges.
I haven't found better mixed media paper yet, even though the smaller books could benefit from slimmer paper. In fact I just wish Mi-Teintes came in all weights, because it's fantastic. And now this turned into a promotion speech.

A chemise and slipcase I made a few weeks ago for one of my older books. Chemise is the additional overcover that protects the sides of the book from abrasion when the book is put in or pulled out the slipcase.

the yapp edges of the chemise are molded before the leather dries, by wrapping the book and chemise in elastic bandage.

My Etsy bookshop is still active too, but I will keep adding all kinds of special one-offs such as artist books and more elaborate bindings in the new shop, in the hopes that it could perhaps be my main channel for selling my work in the near future.
