The Devil's Tears

The Devil's Tears
After swimming the final stretch through one of the narrowest canyons in the world, we arrived at the hidden Kavac cave and waterfalls. The south flank off one of the rocky skirts of Auyántepui (Devil's Mountain) provides the seemingly endless supply of water.

This is a shot of the upper right side of the cave which affords a magnificent view of the sky and a cascade enclosed by stone walls. The sun was present on the day this was shot which added dramatic reflections to the plummeting streams.

Thanks so much, mbr! We were fortunate the sun was in the right position in the sky so as to shine directly into the cave. Hence, the light was such.
