The purpose of these ( reconstructed ) posts is not really clear. First theories said, that they have been part of an astronomical calendar. But now archeologists think that they are rests of architectional elements like bridges, arches or temple structures. The Celts didn't leave anything written. Schön, daß sich heute vielfältige keltische Spuren nachweisen lassen, Ulrich,
selbst auf den Höhen unseres Siegerlandes sollen Rennöfen zur Eisenerzschmelzung gestanden haben, deren Erbauer Kelten gewesen sein sollen.
