Celtic World - Detail
The purpose of these ( reconstructed ) posts is not really clear. First theories said, that they have been part of an astronomical calendar. But now archeologists think that they are rests of architectional elements like bridges, arches or temple structures. The Celts didn't leave anything written. The oral history was much more important for this culture. For more information: see Wiki !
