Fence having a rest

Fence having a rest
HFF from a tumbled down fence in the remote Australian outback. Our car and caravan are at the rear LHS to give some idea of scale. There is a fence, diagonally, mostly falling down!

I can't help but think of the US midwest (Colorado, Utah, New Mexico and Arizona, in particular). The red earth, the silvery, tough vegetation able to survive on very little moisture, the vast, never ending skies. Having being brought up in the Dolomites, my first sensation when I found myself on a similar terrain, with no landmarks for countless miles in every direction, was to feel utterly lost. After living there a while, however, I learned to appreciate and even love its wildness and immensity.
Thank you for reminding me of the beauty of the prairy / outback, Diana, and belated HFF!
