Morning snow
Very nearly the same perspective as my previous landscape. What a difference between weather and seasons! Yes, we do sometimes have snow in Australia. :-) Best viewed on black. Happy fence Friday!

Rolling in
After a hot day, it's great when a cool change rolls in. Sometimes, as here, it is accompanied by a roll cloud. Best on black.
It's snowing!
From the window of our guesthouse, shortly after arriving. This may not mean much to those of you living in the Northern Hemisphere, but snowfalls in most of Australia are sufficiently uncommon to be a cause for excitement and photographs.

They're landing
This lenticular cloud made me think of a flying saucer about to land.... I've watched too many bad 1950s movies, I suspect. On those lines, try this as a musical link.

And as the sun sets ......
Departures - the sun and us! Taken as we were about to leave at the end of our Easter car club gathering, with reflections on the roof of the car near the camera. We are now heading away again (and offline) for a little over a week. So glad that IP SA and the IMA are now finalising arrangements for the continuation of the site.
Best wishes all, and maybe enjoy this track.
The rainbow
A stitched panorama, best viewed large. I was very glad to have a weather resistant camera and lens at this point. :-)
Sunset and contrails
Sunset at the Pink Lakes, in the Murray-Sunset National Park.

Ending with a rainb0w
A double rainbow at sunset, to complete the year 2017. (OK, I took it one year earlier.) :-)
A rainbow is usually taken to signify hope: let's hope that 2018 turns out to be one of the better years. And may you all find the pot of gold which, supposedly, is hidden at each end. This message in the IMA Team Blog also is worth reading.
Breaking
Waves on the beach and in the sky! A cold frontal change was moving up the coast, bringing a sudden change in wind direction and temperatures. This seemed a good b/w subject and is best viewed on black.
